Care & Cleaning

Your slippers/boots can be spot cleaned with a little cold water mixed with a wool wash and dabbed with a clean cloth. 😀

If you have a cleaner specifically for sheepskin, that will work as well. The suede cleaner spray from EMU's care kit is a good option too.

As with any chemical, it's best to spot check the material (in a small area) to ensure it doesn't change the colour or feel of the material.

Please keep in mind that sheepskin is a delicate material so we don't advise to wash EMU slippers or  boots in the washing machine.

A couple of things to note:

• Be gentle – rigorous cleaning or scrubbing can remove the natural lanolin/oils found in the sheepskin.
• Don't heat dry - warm water or heat will cause the material to shrink and change shape

Another way to keep them fresh is to apply EMU's Tea Tree Scented Refresher Spray (found in the care kit) to keep your boots and slippers looking and smelling fresher for longer 🌸
